Springtime = Fun

It seems like we've been able to do a lot of fun activities lately. Thanks to my amazing and wonderful husband we've had a lot of family time together. John works the graveyard shift so he can be home more. We have all day Monday and Tuesday to do errands and activities. I love you John! Thanks for working so hard so I can be a stay at home mom, I appreciate everything you do.

I must say that I love it when the weather starts to get warm and we can do more activities outside. Going from a house with a yard, to a condo with no room to play has been hard. But my wonderful husband has done everything possible to make it more enjoyable. We have a Hogle Zoo family pass and we have LOVED it! The nice thing about having a pass is that you don't feel like you have to be there all day long. You can go for just an hour or two and leave when it's nap time.
We have a park that is pretty close to our house (Liberty Park) and we couldn't resist the warm weather and spent some time there this week. Ella had so much fun playing on the huge playground and the babies loved being outside in the beautiful weather. There was a huge tree there that Ella thought was so neat (I think that's the biggest tree that she's ever seen).
This is what makes me gush about how wonderful my husband is. I got a little idea that I wanted to have a family pass to Discovery Gateway. I had been there once (only once because it was so expensive) and I thought it was so fun. Now that Ella is a little bit older and can enjoy it I just couldn't get it out of my head to get a family pass. I asked John if we could get it. I thought he would say no, but he said, "sure if that's what you want". So on Friday we went at about 6:30 and stayed for a little over an hour. We had so much fun. It was so fun to see Ella light up with excitement at all of the play areas just her size. We look forward to having many more fun times there. We'll have to hit it up next week, because the weather is supposed to be bad, so we can play at the indoor exhibits.
